Meet Coach Nicole
Licensed Special Education Teacher, Vocational Rehabilitation Specialist & Disability Advocate
First things first.
I'm not the "typical" life coach.
My eyes squint in every picture I'm in.
I don't always use appropriate language.
I often talk and talk and talk...but not when I'm listening to you.
I love to learn about people.
My family calls me the "Collector of Biographies."
My favorite quote is attributed to Johann Wolfgang von Goethe: "Treat a man as he is and he will remain as he is. Treat a man as he could be and he will become what he should be."
My motto: "Do the best with what God's given you."
But, I suppose you want to know the facts:
I am married to a wonderful man named James.
I am the mother of 8 awesome children, ages 28-8.
I am a licensed Special Education teacher.
I teach students who have emotional disturbances.
Here are a few items from my resume:
Education and Experience: B.A. in English from Bridgewater State University; Professional Human Resource Management Certificate from Villanova University; Prichard Committee for Academic Excellence Commonwealth Institute for Parent Leadership Fellow; In Business Diversity in Action Award Recipient; Vocational Rehabilitation Specialist; Piloted diversity hiring initiative with MGM Resorts International; 10+ years in the non-profit sector empowering children and adults with disabilities to identify and achieve their educational, vocational, leadership and self-advocacy goals.
